Travel Comfort
Travel Comfort on 8+ month Around the World Journey
As a post-surgical head and neck cancer nurse at the Mayo Clinic hospitals in 1996, I quickly learned how basic comfort measures increased quality of life for my patients. Years later as a Travel Comfort Specialist, I found this to be also true for travelers – especially when traveling internationally.
On an amazing 8+ month trip around the world, I am currently traveling to more than 15 countries on 4 continents. As a nurse consultant, travel expert, traveling parent, author, and passionate traveler, I am also meeting with management and decision makers in the airline, hotel, motorhome, and general hospitality industries discussing the unique practical needs of international travelers.
I also am identifying travel comfort worldwide – amenities, services, signs, products, and miscellaneous items that directly increase the quality of our travel. I also will review hotels around the world identifying accommodations worth visiting. I am delighted to share this travel comfort on the Jet with Comfort blog.
Enjoy life as good as the itinerary…

Travel Comfort: SAFETY
Safety is a major player when identifying travel comfort. Travelers of all ages rely on various modes of transport to access travel destinations. From the highway to the airport, ferries, buses, taxis and trains- safe, reliable transportation provides travel comfort when it really matters!
At the first Jet With Comfort World Tour destination, It was an incredible honor to meet and converse with Honorable NTSB Chairman Deborah Hersman and Chief of Survival Factors, Nora Marshall, both of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) in Washington D. C..
